To further Equal Access to Justice, Honorable Robert A. Hawley, Portia Scott, Erin Grall, Don Isaac and Donna Graf traveled to Philadelphia, PA, to attend the Equal Justice Convention. The training focused around furthering access for indigent individuals through civil Pro Bono projects. The ABA themed event "Commitment, Service & Empowerment: Let Justice Ring" took place from March 30-April 1, 2006.

With a renewed sense of purpose, the 19th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee looks forward to working with members of our individual Bar Associations with the direct legal representation of the indigent in our area.

The 19th Judicial Circuit throws out this challenge to all six Bar Associations: the 2007 Equal Justice Conference will take place March 21 - March 24 th in Denver, Colorado at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. We encourage you to set aside the approximate $1,500.00 per person cost and identify a person from your Bar Association who will travel with our contingent to help further the goals of our circuit.
