Clearwater Bar Association and St. Petersburg Bar Association members and Judges of the 6th Judicial Circuit and Pinellas and Pasco Counties Florida   gathered  for a Bench/Bar Conference at Stetson School of Law on Friday, October 30. Of interest was the rededication of a proclamation declaring October 25-31, 2009, Pro Bono Week, in Pinellas County, Florida. The proclamation recognizes the vast unmet legal needs in the community and further recognizes volunteer attorneys and judges who provide free legal services for the public. The Wild Wild West Bench & Bar-B-Que is held annually to encourage collaboration in the County and is the perfect venue to enhance pro bono efforts. Westlaw is the main sponsor of the event for the 10th year.
