Open to all South Florida attorneys who have been practicing 7 years or less, the Legal Eagle Closing argument competition consists of several rounds of arguing both the plaintiff's and defendants positions. Facts and materials are released 72 hours before the competition begins, and competitors learn which side they will take on the morning of the one day competition. The competition is single- elimination style, with the first round beginning at 9.00am. After the final round, a perpetual trophy is presented to the winner.

The winner will be listed in the Hall of Fame for perpetuity and will receive a $1,000 cash prize. Will you be joining these winners in the HALL OF FAME?

Possible scholarships available for those who qualify.

Proceeds from the competition will be used to fund the Ervin Gonzalez Memorial Law Clerk Fellowship.
